Open Source and license for themes
Open Source is the meaning of Code without any restrictions for using, editing or propagating. But when it comes to themes I often found that the themes come with a software license. Normally this is strange as the free Open Software license GPL says that any software which will be integrated into the Open Source software will become part of this GPL license. For me, this is not completely clear how this works. If I am right people can sell 1 domain licenses for themes but I do not really believe that they are allowed to restrict me to do what I want with this purchased piece of software. Has anybody a deeper understanding of the legal aspects of the mentioned topic?
